Is this for all zones of the United States???
ReplyDeleteObviously each zone has slightly different weather from the adjacent zones so its general timing. You need to try and error or consult
DeleteIs this planting in ground from seed??
ReplyDeleteIs this from seed or from young plant?
ReplyDeleteseed
DeleteIt would be helpful to also have a list of harvest dates for the above list.I live in a climate where the earliest it is safe to plant is very very late April to Early/Mid May.
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful list and I would love to print and follow it. However, I have tried several different ways to print this list and nothing works effectively. I was able to print it however it came out so light I could not read it and it covered two pages! Your efforts of compiling this list would be most helpful if there could be a way to print, view and use the list! Can you help?
ReplyDeleteDo a left click and hold it. Start from the bottom of the list then move your cursor up the page. Everything will highlight then you will right click and choose save as, Save it as PDF file on your Documents or other file you choose. Open the PDF file and you can print it or do whatever whit it.
DeleteAll these dates are wrong no matter what zone you live in. Most of them are cool season veggies and should be sowed a lot earlier. And you can't start corn in July. For the correct dates go to your local cooperative extension agency. They have taken out all the guesswork.
ReplyDeleteI agree! And for some of the veges on this list, there is such a huge differential in dates, I find it hard to beieve. This list is missing a lot of data, as in harvest dates, whether to plant indoors from seed first, etc.. My suggestion, google it and find a better list, a more comprehesive list.
DeleteWhy not grow your own and harvest all year round inside your home? For more information scroll to the bottom of Nutrition and Well-Being page and see how Tower Garden works.
ReplyDeletewww.new-shore.com...No more guesswork...Everyone has a Green Thumb!
Where can I find the planting schedules for a particular Zone, Like Zone 5 in central USA?
